Arlen A. Greer · Chief Technology Officer
Co-FounderArlen Greer is the lead developer and architect of THE TANK, the first marketing and management platform specifically designed to be compliant with the CA Department of Real Estate and the many state and local tenant protection laws and ordinances.
In the early 2000s, as an early adopter of “Ruby on Rails,” Arlen was the lead developer for THELAWNET Corporation’s Subscriber Management System. As a standalone, web-connected app residing on the local device, THELAWNET’s flagship application, Equalizer 7, was 15 years ahead of its time. Today, conceptually similar apps are ubiquitous in the iTunes Store and Google Play. But, in those days in the legal profession, such configurations were unheard of. In the absence of Arlen’s vision and execution, THELAWNET, as it has been used and appreciated by attorneys from coast-to-coast, probably would not have been sustainable.
DREAMANAGER is not Arlen and Ed’s first rodeo as a team. Together they created the hardware and software infrastructure for Biosurplus, which has since enjoyed exponential bi-coastal growth.
Arlen has helped take three companies from their initial start-up phase to mezzanine-level, self-sustaining, revenue-generating enterprises. One of his start-ups, iDriveonline, was acquired by a larger company and went on to consistently perform as one of that organization’s most successful divisions.
Arlen received his computer science training at Rice University in Houston, TX. He is passionate about supporting public libraries and innovative educational initiatives.
Ed Korkuch, Chief Information Officer
Co-FounderEd Korkuch has been involved in the growth and acquisition of multiple organizations. In his role as fractional CTO/CIO, he is responsible for tech infrastructure, development, and information security. As Managing Partner of San Diego’s Versa Computing, on Ed’s watch, Versa has grown at a rate of 40% year-over-year for the past ten years. Like Arlen, Ed’s business relationship with Mr. Whitney has deep roots, reaching back nearly fifteen years.
Ed led the information systems and security strategy, customer service/support, and infrastructure execution to scale a financial services company from twelve employees locally, to 1200 employees nationally. The six year effort Ed managed, included multiple complex transactions, including the purchase and merger of a 400 person competitor, the subsequent acquisition by a Fortune 500 company, and, finally, a 500 person managed buyout.
In 2008, Ed was the lead developer of THELAWNET Corporation’s Equalizer 7 for Mac, a web-connected, desktop app used by lawyers from coast-to-coast.
DREAMANAGER is not Ed and Arlen’s first rodeo as a team. Together they created the hardware and software infrastructure for Biosurplus, which has since enjoyed exponential bi-coastal growth.
Ed holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Bucknell University. In his “spare time,” Ed enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and three young children, coaching their various soccer teams, and hopping in the ocean to catch a few waves.
